To apply for the International TPEG and/or the IES, please log in on the right-hand side of this page. Sign up and create an account using a username and password that you will remember. If this is your first time, you will need to create an account. Applications will become available on January 3rd, 2018. The deadline for both the International TPEG and IES is March 2, 2018, at 11:59 pm.
We also recommend all students, international and domestic, review the main UNT Student Financial Aid and Scholarships website which includes financial aid opportunities not administered by UNT-International. Applications for International Students OnlyInternational Texas Public Education Grant
An award is not guaranteed. Priority consideration will be given to applicants who complete the application process early. Incomplete applications will not be considered for review. The application opens January 3rd, 2018, and closes March 2, 2018, at 11:59 pm.
Be a continuing international student in good immigration status with a valid passport, a student visa, and all required immigration documents.
Be a regular UNT-only student for the Fall 2017 and/or Spring 2018 semesters.
Be enrolled fulltime or be approved for less than fulltime enrollment during the next school year. Fulltime enrollment for undergraduates is 12 credit hours. Fulltime enrollment for graduates or 2nd Bachelor is 9 credit hours.
At the time of application be making Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP). Information on SAP can be found at: https://financialaid.unt.edu/sap
Students must demonstrate legal employment for the previous term or year.
Demonstrate financial need by completing the TPEG application form and providing all required support documents.
